Dr. Butts Scholastic Music Award
In honor of Dr. Butts, his musical talents and his contributions to music education this scholarship is for students who have made a significant, positive contribution to the AHS music program and will be studying music as a major/minor at the collegiate level.
A.I.M.A. Musical Leadership Award
This scholarship is in honor of all the tireless volunteers throughout the years who support and make the success of the Arundel Music Department possible. For exemplary contributions to the music program by students acting in a leadership capacity while participating in the Arundel Music Program.

Directions:
1) Please complete the above scholarship application form and essay.
2) **You may want to write your essay ahead of time. Be sure to read the prompt carefully.
3) Mr. Burns does not assess your scholarship application. It is determined by non-senior music booster members
Process:
1) Scholarship applications will be securely transferred from music department chair to AIMA Scholarship Committee
2) Scholarships will be evaluated by the AIMA Scholarship Committee
3) Winners will be announced at Arundel HS Senior Award Ceremony Presentation in May
4) Funds will be dispersed via mail after ceremony.
