The Arundel Music Boosters Is proud to offer scholarships to graduating seniors each year to support continued scholastic pursuits after graduating from Arundel.
Two eligible students will receive:
Dr. Butts Scholastic Music AwardFor those students who have made a significant, positive contribution to the AHS music program and will be studying music as a major/minor at the collegiate level. AND
Two eligible students will receive:
A.I.M.A. Musical Leadership AwardFor exemplary contributions to the music program by students acting in a leadership capacity while participating in the AHS Music Program.
Arundel Show Stoppers is an audition-only, competitive 10-12 person vocal group accompanied by a live student pit, with choreography, and singing 3-part harmony.
Competitions are mandatory. Rehearsals are held during lunch on Fridays and once or twice after school during the week. Auditions for next school year have been announced! FRIDAY, MAY 8TH, during both prides Filling 2 soprano, 3 alto, and 1 baritone spots. Prepare 1 minute of a pop/rock song to sing with a karaoke track and be prepared to dance. Nominations: Your music director must nominate you in order to register. Nomination deadline is September 24, so please reach out to your director by September 20 if you are interested.
