2024 Arundel Wildcat Marching BAND NIGHT!

September 20th @ Arundel High School Varsity Football Game

 

All middle school students who play a band instrument are invited to join the Arundel High School Marching Band in a combined special performance at the Arundel High School Varsity Football Game!

Pre-Game Performance (5:50 pm):             Star Spangled Banner & Arundel Fight Song

Half-Time Performance (approx. 7:20 pm):          7 Nation Army

Schedule:

4:00 PM           Middle school band students meet at band room and walk to high school

4:15 PM           Dinner (Option to purchase for $10 or bring your own)

5:00 PM           Warm Up & Rehearse on Front Patio

5:40 PM           March to Stadium

5:50 PM           Performance of National Anthem & Fight Song

6:00 PM           Game Starts -- band performs in stands

7:20 PM           Approximate HalfTime Show Performance feat. Arundel MS Band Students

7:45 PM           Dismissal of Middle School Students

Students are welcome to sit with the marching band for the remainder of the game or be picked up at the Arundel High School’s Main Entrance (near the band room). Parents must attend the game or provide pickup for their student after performance.

 

Attire:  Students should wear comfortable shoes and athletic attire (check the weather forecast to dress appropriately). 

             

Optional Dinner Cost:   $10 (Bring with you that night)

 

Music:  Students are encouraged to print and practice the music ahead of time.  

 

Bring:  Instrument, Music (if printed), Water Bottle (with name on it), Jacket/Sweatshirt, $10  

Optional: Students who own a lyre for their instrument are encouraged to bring one.  

Percussionists: Bring Sticks (percussion instruments will be ready for you @ Arundel High)
