Dear choir students in the Arundel High School feeder system,

 

Happy November! My name is Ms. Godfrey; I will be your choir teacher when you get to high school!

 

As you may remember, every year we try to have an event in which all of us (elementary, middle, and high school) sing together in the same concert. Even though we are distance learning this year, we still want to provide such an opportunity!

Many choirs around the world have been creating “virtual choirs” this year. This entails each singer recording themselves individually, then someone edits them all together into one big choir! That is how we will be doing our virtual choir.

​

The song we are performing is “What If” by Reba McEntire. You will not be singing the whole song, but rather a portion of it. Please pay attention to your own part (and not the solo).

​

All the materials for this performance can be found at https://www.arundelmusic.org/copy-of-feeder-concert. There, you will be directed to a folder with materials and instructions. You will see an invitation to a Google Meet on Wednesday 12/2/20 at 1:00 PM. This will be used to capture our faces for the video. There will also be a release form for you to sign in order to be allowed to participate.

The due date for all materials to be submitted is November 29th (the end of Thanksgiving break).
